| Some intersting facts about the colours used in our website... The colours used in the flag of Tanzania are black, yellow, green and blue. They represent: Black represents the people of Tanzania Yellow represents the valuable resources (gems) found here Green represents the fertile soil and grasslands across our nation Blue represents the Indian Ocean, Lake Tanganyika and Lake Victoria You will notice that there is no red in the Tanzanian Flag. That is because no blood was spilled in Tanzania's quest for independance. |
